人體的感覺神經大部分都分佈在淺層筋膜,如果有受傷就有可能會造成淺層皮膚的觸覺敏感度降低。
此研究找13位受測者,13位都是複雜性局部疼痛症候群complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS type 1),疼痛的區分和分級是用 (國際疼痛研究學會international association for the study of pain -IASP)所制定的標準。
實驗方法是測試患側手掌的兩點間距two-point discrimination threshold (TPD) 和VAS(疼痛指數),實驗設計分幾個期,第一階段:沒有做任何治療,第二階段:在受測者的患側手掌設定5個點,用工具測試5個點的TPD和VAS(疼痛指數),測試時用板子隔著患手和視野,受測者看不到患手被測試的位置,測試一段時間後,第三階段:請受測者用軟木塞材質(兩種尺寸)的棒針在家自行做皮膚刺激的訓練,第四階段再換成給受測者看自己的患手照片,邊測試邊請受測者看自己的照片判斷是測試哪個點和TPD。
結果發現:受傷後造成的觸覺敏感度的降低,可經由觸覺刺激後改善,受測者的兩點間距two-point discrimination threshold (TPD) 和VAS(疼痛指數)和功能性function(睡眠/手腳活動性)都有改善。
